Through photography, Antonia reveals an intimacy while remaining discreet. Her approach is instinctive: clair-obscur, rays of sunlight and shadow. At the centre of her work, whether an interior or a travel story, is an evolving and meandering emotional narrative.

Her journey started as a fashion journalist for ELLE and Marie Claire Romania. In 2016 she moved to Paris for a master’s degree in communication at the Sorbonne. Carrying a camera with her everywhere, she began to catch the essence of the city almost by instinct, and from that point decided to take photography seriously.

A self-taught photographer, her eye is informed by a love of history, an appreciation of beauty and a sense of stillness. Over time the world of interiors has become both a personal and a professional endeavour, nourished by collaborations with architecture and design studios in Paris, alongside personal photo series captured over years of explorations around France.

In 2020 she returned to her Romanian roots in Transylvania, where she found insight in stillness: a fleeting nostalgia she continues to capture in an ongoing photo essay.
